Abstract

Precision hydraulic systems such as robotics, agricultural machinery and automation is advancing very rapidly, today. Controlling over parameters such as pressure, flow and accuracy is the most important target. All these attempts for improving such parameters create drawbacks as well. Hydraulic shock (hammer) is one of the most remarkable problems for systems with high power and precision. This paper gives rough definition for hydraulic shock and its effects, reviews several researches to prevent and eliminate hydraulic shock effects and proposes new method for suppression amplitude value of pressure surge.
