Abstract

The article presents the working conditions of traction asynchronous motors of electric locomotives, the classification of internal and external faults that occur in them. Various functional diagnostic methods for identifying possible defects and malfunctions in TAMs have been considered. Advantages and disadvantages of using these diagnostic methods are also described. At the end of the article, conclusions are given based on the results of the analysis.
