Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to investigate conformally invariant variational problem for timelike curves in the higher dimensional Einstein universe. Lorentz analogue of the conformally invariant functional in Riemannian case provides computation of the Euler-Lagrange equations for critical curves which are called as worldlines.
