Abstract

The paper analyses the battery electric vehicles available on the market. The data for more than 80 models of such vehicles are collected. The vehicles’ performance is compared with different power requirements. The electric motor power, battery capacity, and vehicle driving range are analyzed to fulfill such requirements. Based on the results of the critical analysis the future possible activities in the field of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) performance improvement are defined.
