The JUSTIFICATION OF PERFORMANCE INDICATORS OF SMALL-CLASS ELECTRIC VEHICLES AND THEIR TRACTION BATTERIES
Keywords:
Electric vehicles, traction batteries, resource conservation, service life of traction batteries, temperature conditions of electric vehiclesAbstract
This article is aimed at substantiating the resource indicators and characteristics of electric vehicles. Engineers and vehicle manufacturers around the world are currently working to find solutions to a wide range of issues in order to produce electric vehicles with characteristics comparable to conventional cars. The study of operational factors affecting the service life and resource of electric vehicles is one of the most promising areas of development of electric vehicles worldwide. The main problems of mass use of electric vehicles are low performance indicators, including the service life of traction batteries used in electric vehicles, a significant limitation of autonomous movement compared to cars based on internal combustion engines, high cost of batteries, limited implementation. charging infrastructure, deterioration of performance at high temperatures and low ambient temperatures. Due to the direct impact on the energy efficiency of an electric vehicle, the battery life deserves special attention when discussing electric vehicles and their composite modules. Improving the consumer qualities and accessibility of electric vehicles is one of the main priorities, and one of the urgent tasks is to study the validity of variables affecting the service life of electric vehicles.
